Three former Virginia Beach deputies charged with murder in the asphyxiation death of inmate Rolin Hill.
Three former Virginia Beach sheriff's deputies have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of an inmate, Rolin Hill, who died from asphyxia after being restrained at the jail. Hill, 34, was arrested in June for trespassing and resisting arrest. The deputies were indicted after a grand jury investigation, and the sheriff's office had previously asked the Virginia State Police for an independent review.
