Sri Lanka's $40M Thimbiriya Skyline Resorts aims for net-zero emissions with renewable energy.

A $40 million ecotourism project, Thimbiriya Skyline Resorts, is being developed in Sri Lanka's Bulathkohupitiya. This 100-room, five-star resort will be powered by renewable energy, aiming for net-zero carbon emissions. The project, approved by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, will feature a 1 MW agrivoltaic solar system and promote local employment and sustainable development, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
