Court clears nine accused in 2006 India explosion, ruling it likely an accident, not a bomb.

A court in Nanded, India, has acquitted nine people accused in a 2006 explosion that killed two men. The explosion occurred at the home of Laxman Rajkondwar, an alleged Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh worker. The prosecution failed to prove that the explosion was a bomb blast rather than an accident involving a gas cylinder or other inflammable object, based on defense lawyer Nitin Runwal's statement.
