Cambodia saw a 48% rise in Chinese tourists visiting the Angkor Archaeological Park in 2024, with 82,675 visitors, up from 55,689 the previous year. The park welcomed 1.02 million international tourists total. China is now the third-largest source of foreign tourists to Angkor, after the US and Britain. The increase is attributed to the new Siem Reap Angkor International Airport and the Cambodia-China people-to-people exchange year.
