Bangladesh Army discovers two UPDF training camps, kills one militant in Rangamati.
The Bangladesh Army found two training camps belonging to the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF-Main) in Rangamati's Bandukbhanga Range, in areas of Paglichhari and Zamchuk. The UPDF members fled upon discovery. The camps included observation posts, training grounds, residences, and bunkers. The army aims to prevent terrorist activities and maintain law and order in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. An alleged UPDF member was also killed in a skirmish with army personnel in Rangamati.
