Venezuelan opposition leader travels to Argentina amid election dispute, diplomatic tensions.

Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez, who claims victory in the July election, plans to travel to Argentina ahead of President Nicolas Maduro's inauguration on January 10. Gonzalez, currently in Spain to avoid arrest, will meet Argentine President Javier Milei, amid diplomatic tensions. Venezuela's electoral authorities and top court say Maduro won the election, but the opposition and some Western countries claim fraud and seek transparency.
