South Korean construction firms have achieved over $1 trillion in overseas contracts, 59 years after securing their first international deal. In 2024, they secured $32.69 billion in new orders, falling short of the $40 billion annual target but reaching the highest total since 2015. Nearly half of the orders came from Saudi Arabia, with significant growth from the Middle East.
