Marshall Wace, Sir Paul Marshall's hedge fund, reports a near two-thirds drop in yearly profit to £192 million.

Sir Paul Marshall's hedge fund, Marshall Wace, saw its yearly profit fall by nearly two-thirds to £192 million in the year to February 2024, down from £539 million the previous year. The firm, managing around $70 billion in assets, also reported a drop in turnover from £1.2 billion to £769 million. The company attributes the decline to political uncertainty and global economic instability.
