Man in his 40s capsized boat after medical event, rescued in stable condition near Batemans Bay.

On January 2, a man in his 40s had a medical event while boating in Batemans Bay, causing him to fall onto the throttle and capsize the vessel. A private boat rescued him, and he was taken to the local hospital in stable condition with a possible head injury. The submerged boat was towed to Snapper Island. Marine Rescue NSW emphasized the importance of registering with them for safety during boating.
