French and Indian navies conduct joint exercises in the Indian Ocean to boost maritime security and cooperation.

French naval forces, led by the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, are conducting joint exercises with Indian warships in the Indian Ocean. Part of Mission Clemenceau 25, these maneuvers, known as Varuna, aim to enhance maritime security and interoperability between the two navies. France is also preparing for further multinational exercises and works with India to address regional maritime issues like piracy and trafficking.
