Five people were hospitalized after a carbon monoxide leak at an Atlanta Marriott hotel.

A carbon monoxide leak at the Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Atlanta led to the evacuation of the hotel and the hospitalization of five people, including three adults and two children, for exposure evaluation. Fire crews responded around 9 a.m., shut off the gas line, and declared the situation stable. The hotel is housed in the historic Rhodes-Haverty building, built in 1929.
