FDA recalls oysters from Washington due to norovirus, causing illness in multiple states.

The FDA has recalled oysters harvested by Ruco's Shellfish in Washington between December 2-17 due to norovirus contamination. This is the fourth oyster recall in three weeks, amid a surge of norovirus cases. The oysters were distributed in Washington and Oregon, possibly other states, and can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and flu-like symptoms. The FDA has issued 12 oyster advisories this year.
