Apple agrees to $95M settlement over Siri recording users' private conversations without consent.

Apple has agreed to a $95 million settlement to resolve a lawsuit alleging that Siri, its virtual assistant, recorded users' private conversations without their consent. The lawsuit, spanning five years, claims that Siri accidentally activated and shared recordings with advertisers. The settlement, pending judicial approval, could provide up to $20 per device to eligible users who had Siri-enabled devices from September 17, 2014, through December 31, 2024. Apple denies any wrongdoing.
