Samsung develops advanced image sensor for future iPhones, potentially surpassing Sony's technology.

Samsung is developing a new 3-layer stacked image sensor for future iPhones, which could outperform Sony's current sensors and potentially replace them by 2026. This sensor is expected to enhance photo quality, especially in low light, and may debut in the iPhone 18 series. Additionally, the iPhone 18 might use a new TSMC processor manufactured with advanced 2nm technology. Samsung is also working on a 500MP sensor for its own Galaxy phones.
