Over 400,000 students in Malaysia have begun taking the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exams at 3,000 centers nationwide. Favorable weather has helped candidates travel to exam sites, though some flood-related issues are reported in a few states. The exams will continue for five weeks, with contingency plans in place for flood-affected areas, including alternative exam centers. In Kuala Lumpur, 20,676 candidates are participating, and Penang reports smooth first-day exam proceedings with no issues.
