A study in JAMA Dermatology shows that self-guided online cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is as effective as traditional psychologist-led therapy for managing eczema symptoms. The online program, which teaches patients to manage itching, requires less time and fewer healthcare resources. Nearly 170 adults with eczema were involved, and both self-guided and traditional therapy groups saw similar improvements, making effective treatment more accessible.
