On New Year's Eve, a pickup rolled over in Idaho; two passengers hospitalized, none wore seat belts.

On December 31, 2024, at 8:14 p.m., a 1985 Dodge pickup driven by an 18-year-old from Kimberly in Gooding County, Idaho, rolled over. The driver was uninjured, but a 21-year-old male and an 18-year-old female passenger were hospitalized. Another 18-year-old female passenger was not injured. None of the passengers were wearing seat belts. The Idaho State Police are investigating and stress the importance of seat belt use.
