Malaysia offers a flat RM150 fee for up to three traffic fines, starting Jan 3, to clear backlog.
Malaysia's Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced a six-month period starting January 3rd, allowing vehicle owners to settle three traffic summonses at a flat rate of RM150. Owners must pay through JPJ counters, kiosks, or the MyJPJ app to avoid higher original fines and the inability to renew licenses and road taxes. The initiative also suspends demerit point accumulation until June 30th, with two million outstanding summonses to be addressed.
