Fragment from infamous HMS Bounty, linked to 1790 mutiny, to be auctioned in February.

A copper sheathing fragment from the HMS Bounty, salvaged in 1973 from Pitcairn Island by a former RAF technician, is set to be auctioned on February 26. The relic, valued between £1,000 and £1,500, was found in a Warwickshire attic and comes with the salvager's logs. The HMS Bounty, known for the 1790 mutiny immortalized in films, was burned by mutineers.
