Former school superintendent Ryan Baron's child sexual exploitation trial delayed to May 2025.

The federal trial of Ryan Baron, the former Midkota Public Schools superintendent accused of child sexual exploitation, has been delayed until May 6, 2025. Baron faces charges for possessing child sexual abuse materials and is linked to another man, Aaron Doss, who has already pleaded guilty to related charges. The delay was requested by Baron's defense to allow more time for preparation. Baron remains in jail awaiting his trial.
