Former Ottolenghi chef Carlos Capparelli is transforming a historic Belfast watermill into a multicultural food destination.
Carlos Capparelli, former executive chef at Ottolenghi, is nearing completion of a £3.5m project to restore a 300-year-old watermill in Dundonald, Belfast, into a deli, café, and restaurant.
Backed by Ottolenghi and local investors, the project aims to offer a blend of Brazilian, Italian, and Middle Eastern cuisine and create numerous hospitality jobs.
The opening is anticipated for summer 2025.
