Cheyenne Mountain Zoo introduces first-time mother Aysan's newborn Hoffmann's two-toed sloth.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo welcomed a Hoffmann's two-toed sloth baby on December 18 to first-time mother Aysan and father Bosco. The unnamed sloth, whose sex is unknown, is learning to eat solid foods like plantain and lettuce but still relies on nursing. Aysan and her baby are currently bonding behind the scenes, with the zoo to announce public viewing dates later.
