Woman charged with aggravated assault after firing at Marshall police during a disturbance.

A 22-year-old woman, Evelyn Luna, was charged with aggravated assault against a public servant after firing at Marshall police officers during a disturbance call on December 19. Despite attempts to de-escalate, Luna, armed with a handgun, fired at the officers, leading to a return of fire that injured her. She was hospitalized, then arrested and booked into the Harrison County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
