Tennessee maintains top spot in AP Top 25 college basketball rankings, with Auburn at No. 2.
Tennessee holds the No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 college basketball rankings for the third week in a row, receiving 41 first-place votes. Auburn is close behind at No. 2 after gaining eight additional first-place votes. The top 13 teams stayed the same as 12 ranked teams didn’t play during the holiday week. UCLA climbed seven spots to No. 15 after a 65-62 win over Gonzaga, which dropped to No. 19. Memphis entered the rankings at No. 21 after an 87-70 win over Mississippi, while San Diego State fell out after losing to Utah State. The SEC leads with ten ranked teams.
