Scientists in Utah uncover 26,000-year-old near-complete red fox skeleton, "Roxy," from Ice Age.

Scientists in Utah have unearthed a 26,000-year-old nearly complete red fox skeleton, nicknamed "Roxy," in the Uinta Mountains. The find, one of the most intact Ice Age mammal skeletons in the region, dates to just before the last glacial maximum. Discovered in a cave by researchers from the Utah Division of State Parks and USDA Forest Service, Roxy’s bones will eventually be displayed at the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum in Vernal.
