A permanent barricade is being installed on a section of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in San Diego to prevent access due to worsening coastal erosion and cracks in the cliffs. This popular but unofficial photo spot will be off-limits until a permanent barrier is completed within the week. The city is also working on a Coastal Resilience Master Plan to address rising sea levels and erosion, seeking public input on future coastal projects.
