This move aims to accelerate the development of advanced humanoid robots by combining Samsung’s AI capabilities with Rainbow Robotics' expertise. Samsung plans to integrate Rainbow Robotics as a subsidiary and establish a Future Robotics Office to drive robotics innovation. The investment marks Samsung’s strategic push into the growing global robotics market, expected to reach $165.2 billion by 2029.
