Pilot made emergency landing at Georgia airport on Christmas Eve; plane damaged, pilot safe.
A pilot made an emergency "belly landing" at Ben Epps Airport in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, on Christmas Eve around 5:15 a.m., after encountering issues with the aircraft's landing gear. The Cessna 337 Skymaster sustained damage but the pilot was uninjured. Clarke County firefighters were on site to assist.
