Thetis Lake Regional Park in British Columbia was temporarily closed on Christmas Eve after reports of a person carrying a firearm. Police found the individual had a plastic replica long gun used for physical conditioning. After informing the person of the threat posed, they apologized and left the park, which was then reopened.
