Pakistan's ECNEC approves $1.1 billion in projects for irrigation, roads, water systems, and education.

The ECNEC in Pakistan has approved seven development projects totaling around Rs 217 billion. Projects include expanding irrigation for flood rehabilitation in Sindh, revising road infrastructure plans in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, improving Karachi’s water and sewerage systems, and enhancing education in Punjab through a World Bank-funded project. The committee was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
