Ohio saw a record 74 tornadoes in 2024, surpassing the 1992 record of 62. These tornadoes, mainly between late February and late July, caused three deaths, 34 injuries, and $22 million in property damage. The most destructive, an EF3, hit Indian Lake in March, causing $5 million in damage. Warren County experienced the most with six tornadoes, followed by five in Franklin, Licking, Mercer, and Muskingum counties. The year ended with an EF0 tornado near Marysville on December 29.
