Nigerian Senate backs President Tinubu's regional developmental commissions to enhance local growth.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced that the 10th National Assembly supports President Bola Tinubu's creation of regional developmental commissions in Nigeria to boost grassroots development. The NASS has established commissions for the Northwest, Southwest, North Central, and South South regions, with the South East commission also signed into law. Ministries are allocated based on regional needs, focusing on issues like ecological concerns and empowering areas like the South East with the Ministry of Works.
