China's leading battery maker, CATL, has launched two types of standard swappable batteries and partnered with nearly 100 companies to create a power charging network. The batteries offer various capacities and can last between 400 km to 600 km. CATL plans to build 1,000 battery swap stations by 2025 and holds 36.8% of the global EV battery market, supplying major car manufacturers like BMW and Volkswagen.
