The UAE has launched major infrastructure projects to boost its economy, including the completion of the Barakah Nuclear Plant, which will supply up to 25% of the country's clean electricity. In Abu Dhabi, 144 projects totaling AED66 billion have been approved. Dubai is developing a new global passenger terminal and upgrading its rainwater drainage system. The country is also investing in nine new dams and expanding existing ones to enhance climate resilience and water reserves.
