Norwegian skier Fredrik Moeller won his first World Cup victory in the super-G race on Sunday at the Stelvio slope in Italy, ahead of Austrian skier Vincent Kriechmayr.
The race took place on the slope set to host the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Despite Moeller's triumph, the event was overshadowed by serious injuries to three skiers, including Swiss Gino Caviezel, who was airlifted off the slope with a dislocated shoulder and complex knee injury.
