Marguerita O'Rourke, a young mother from Rathkeale, Co. Limerick, died on December 21 after a van hit a set of gates she was standing beside. A 42-year-old man is charged with dangerous driving causing her death. Her funeral at St Mary's Church drew over 1,000 mourners, with family friend Fr Liam Enright praising her as the heart of her family. The service featured tributes and photos of Marguerita, and her remains were carried to St Joseph's Cemetery in a horse-drawn carriage.
