Malaysian durian company director pleads not guilty to misusing nearly RM195,000 in funds.

A director of a durian products company in Malaysia, Datuk John Lee Siew Neng, has pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal breach of trust involving nearly RM195,000 in company funds. The alleged offenses occurred between February and August 2022. Lee faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine if convicted. His bail was set at RM15,000 with one surety and his passport must be surrendered to the court until the case is resolved. The trial is ongoing.
