Garbage collection schedules are adjusted in multiple cities due to New Year's Day.

Due to New Year's Day, garbage collection schedules are changing in several cities. In Bemidji, Wednesday, Jan. 1st, pickups are moved to Thursday, Jan. 2nd, and City Hall will be closed. In Washington, Wednesday and Thursday pickups will be delayed by one day, and residents are advised not to put glass in recycling bins. Dependable Sanitation in another city will collect both Tuesday and Wednesday's garbage on Tuesday, and recycling will continue as usual.
