French company Voltalia secures a major solar project in Tunisia, set to power over 620,000 people.

Voltalia, a French renewable energy company, has won a 139-megawatt solar project in Menzel Habib, Tunisia. The project, scheduled to begin construction at the end of 2025 and be commissioned by 2027, will provide enough energy for over 620,000 people annually and reduce CO2 emissions by 360,000 tonnes per year. This is Voltalia's second project in Tunisia, with the electricity sold under a 25-year contract.
