Deborah James's charity donated £1 million to The Royal Marsden Hospital for a cancer treatment machine.

Dame Deborah James's fund, established before her 2022 death from bowel cancer, donated £1 million to The Royal Marsden Hospital for a new interventional radiology machine and suite refurbishment. The machine, which uses imaging for minimally invasive cancer treatments, will be named after her. Her father, Alastair James, said Deborah would have been thrilled by the impact of her donation.
