Castorone vessel arrives in Turkey to install deep-sea pipelines for the Sakarya gas project.
The Castorone, a technologically advanced vessel, has journeyed to Turkey for phase two of the Sakarya gas project. It will install a 158-kilometer main pipeline and a 21-kilometer intrafield pipeline in the Black Sea, reaching depths of up to 2,200 meters. The vessel, one of the world's largest and most advanced pipelay ships, previously installed 3,500 kilometers of pipelines, including a record depth of 2,200 meters in the project's first phase.
