Three firefighters were injured as they battled a D.C. fire that spread to six structures.
Three firefighters were injured on Saturday responding to a fire that started in a vacant rowhouse on 9th and P streets NW in D.C. The blaze spread to six structures, with at least four being three-story rowhouses. Approximately 20 units and 100 personnel tackled the fire, which was brought under control by 5:25 p.m. The firefighters were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The area between O and R streets and the intersection of 9th and N streets NW were closed.
