Sydney drug dealer Shadi Salameh fails to reduce sentence for supplying fentanyl, mistaking it for cocaine.
Shadi Salameh, a 32-year-old Sydney drug dealer, failed to reduce his sentence for drug supply after mistakenly giving a sex worker fentanyl, thinking it was cocaine. The incident happened in January 2020 at The Gateway Club, a legal brothel in Petersham. Salameh provided a drink laced with fentanyl to a sex worker, causing her hospitalization. His trial at the District Court occurred last year.
