Dame Rosalind Savill, a renowned art historian and former director of the Wallace Collection, died at age 73. She began her career at the Victoria and Albert Museum and later led the Wallace Collection from 1992 to 2011, overseeing its expansion. Known for her expertise in Sevres porcelain, she authored a three-volume catalogue and received a CBE in 2000 and a damehood in 2009 for her contributions to the arts.
