Women mutual fund investors in India surge, outpacing men in systematic investment plans.

Women investors in India's mutual fund industry have grown more than 2.5 times year-on-year, with significant increases in smaller cities. Women's participation in systematic investment plans (SIPs) is 25% higher than men's, and they now make up one in four SIP investors. The mutual fund industry saw assets under management increase by over Rs 17 lakh crore in 2024.
