Turkey plans a high-speed rail linking its two Istanbul airports, crossing the Bosphorus.

Turkey plans to build a high-speed train line connecting Istanbul's two major airports, Istanbul Airport on the European side and Sabiha Gokcen Airport on the Asian side. The 120-kilometer project will cross the Bosphorus Strait via the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. The line will also extend to the border with Bulgaria. Istanbul Airport served about 76 million passengers last year and aims for 81 million this year, while Sabiha Gokcen plans to boost its capacity.
