Scottie Scheffler, the world's top golfer and 2024 PGA Tour Player of the Year, will miss the season-opening Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii after sustaining a puncture wound to his right hand from a broken glass while cooking Christmas dinner. The injury required surgery and will sideline him for three to four weeks. He is set to return for The American Express on January 16.
