Pakistan's ruling coalition pressures opposition to nominate PAC chairman, threatens to appoint one themselves.
Pakistan's government is pushing to elect the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman by next week, asking the opposition PTI party to submit four nominees.
PTI has so far refused, endorsing only one candidate, Sheikh Waqas Akram.
The ruling coalition has warned that if PTI does not comply within seven days, they will choose the PAC chairman themselves.
This comes after a 10-month delay in the appointment process.
