Kansas volleyball coach Ray Bechard, the winningest in program history, retires after 27 seasons.

Legendary Kansas volleyball coach Ray Bechard announced his retirement on December 27 after 27 seasons. Bechard, the winningest coach in Kansas volleyball history with a .613 winning percentage, led the Jayhawks to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances, including a 2015 Final Four run. During his tenure, he coached 26 All-Americans and posted a 496-313 record. The University of Kansas will now conduct a search for a new head coach.
