K-Electric seeks to refund consumers due to lower fuel costs, proposing a tariff cut for November bills.

K-Electric, Karachi's power utility, is seeking approval from Pakistan's National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) to refund Rs7.179 billion to consumers for November's electricity bills due to lower fuel costs. Nepra will hold a public hearing on January 15 to review the proposed Rs4.98 per unit reduction. This is the third consecutive month K-Electric is applying for a tariff reduction.
